She weighed a mere 21 pounds when she was brought in. She had 7 babies that were starved as well. At 8 weeks old they only weighed 3 pounds :( Thankfully everyone survived and mom and pups are doing well. Aura has gained 10 lbs. and we are working to slowly put more weight on her until she is at her optimum weight of 45-50 lbs.She's also heartworm positive and we will begin her treatment once she is healthy enough.She's a really great girl and deserves a wonderful home of her own.
